Why should you start or join a platform co-op?
First of all, you’d join the 1 billion people who work in co-ops worldwide.
Since its inception, the co-op model has proven to offer more job security and the same or higher wages compared to jobs in regular private businesses. Rooted in the ICA principles, cooperatives create dignified, humane workplaces for their members. While it does take longer to get cooperatives off the ground, their failure rates are lower than traditional businesses.
